Was it the FNGs? Was it complacency? Are the Longhairs getting too long in the tooth? Did the Longhairs actually miss Bagwan's presence? Is there any excuse that will cover the atrocity this game was for the Longhair side? This reporter doesn't think so. It was domination almost from the git go. Shorthair MVP, Dakota and Shorthair newcomer, Yellowshirt seemed to be all over the field. The Shorthair offense was methodical (with an occasional breakaway), and the Longhairs' QB(s) seemed to be MIA. Even when the Shorthairs tried to give it back, the Longhairs didn't want it. Even Fil's miracle catch couldn't change the momentum. Even Stevie's motivational speech featuring Mr. Orange couldn't light enough of a fire under the Longhairs. The Shorthairs' margin of victory was their largest ever, and they had a shutout through almost three quarters. Could this be the start of something?  Naaaah.
