• KBAR begins: "75 Ways" + KBAR side of Expectations attached to inside covers of notebook. Copy KBAR rubric into notebook. Example responses. Make form for signatures.

• The Outsiders:  Introduction...What do know or think you know about 1967 ?!  What is an outsider? What is the connotation of that word?  Add to vocabulary:
• denotation: dictionary definition
• connotation: what that word makes you think of
• Begin reading Chapter One aloud.
