A verb is a word that shows action or otherwise helps
to complete a statement.
ACTION: jump, shout, carry, run, think, dream
COMPLETES A STATEMENT: be, am, is, are, was, were
EXAMPLES: Johnny ran away. I jumped
over the moon. I am a good boy. Where were
you? He is huge!
