  1. What if people routinely live to be 150-200 years old? Speculate on the good and bad effects.
  2. What if the Earth were suddenly plunged into darkness, 24 hours a day? Describe some of the changes that would result, and show the effects on everyday life.
  3. "Be a Thing" story: A drop of water, a $20 bill, a quarter, a pen that keeps getting borrowed or lost, etc. Write from the point of view of the thing. Show how the world looks, feels, sounds from its point of view.
  4. "Be careful what you wish for; it just might come true." Show the down-side(s) of getting your wish.
  5. Make a list of 50 ways to make money. Make it serious. Make it funny.
