Prepare paper for Test #19.
Mental Floss. 6 minutes.
  1. What three letter word can you rearrange its letters to spell another three letter word that means the same thing?
  2. There is a building with thirty stories and one elevator. On floor twenty-one, four people get on and zero get off. On floor thirteen, six get on and two get off. On floor nine, eight people get on and four get off. How many people would get on and off on floor  thirty-one?
  3. Fill in the blanks below with three 4-letter words that are anagrams of each other (they all contain the same four letters):  "The man ____ ____ of money because he couldn't walk away from the ____ machines."
  4. Mom and Dad Palindrome kept presents for Bob and Sis in a special place and gave them out when the they did something especially good. What did they call this special prize place? The answer is a palindrome, of course, and so will spell the same backwards and forward. (Example: Madam, I'm Adam.) Hint: It's a two word answer.
  5. Once there were 9 children from the same family. They were each born 18 months apart. The oldest one (George) was 5 times older than the youngest one (Michael). How old was Michael?
