Copy Homework into your notebooks: (3 minutes max)

  1. Notes Assignment #1, (2 good sources, 3 notes each), due Wednesday, May 12th.
  2. Second Rough Draft Outline, (with Thesis Statement), due Friday, May 14th.
  3. Works Cited Page, (with 5 sources / 3 types), due Friday, May 14th.
Test Issues (from Friday's Test #24) (5 minutes max)
  1. Rough Draft Outline Pink Sheets (not just 12 points, this is the start of your Research Project)
    -please get this to me ASAP: you will get 12 points added to your test score.
    ***Mr. B will ask for topics from all students who did not turn in a Pink Sheet.***
         -If you don't have one yet, give a possible one today. (Mrs. Speidel will want this).

Walking to the Library, (keep together, quiet, orderly, respectful)

Mrs. Speidel's Mini-Lesson

  1. Things to bring to the library each day:
    -Your Computer ID#.
    -Your Research Folder.
    -Photocopy Money.
    -Pen or Pencil and Paper.
  2. Searches using "Keyword", "Author", "Title", "Subject."
  3. Ask to reserve a book if it is checked out.
  4. Use Index at back of books to help find your subject.
  5. Put the books you want to use again on the Mr. Coward Cart.
  6. Put books you don't want to use in the Book Return Slot.
    -DO NOT RESHELVE ANY BOOKS!! (except Reference Books).
