Warm Up: ( 1/2 point for each good sentence. 1/2
point for each correct citation) (7 minutes max)
Turn the following bullet notes into a paragraph:
*note: Source #1 is "Smith," Source #2 is "Jones,"
Source #3 is "Birds."

"Turning Notes into Text" Activity (20 points possible:
not extra credit) (20 minutes)
Using your "Notes Assignment #2," and your
"Works Cited Page," please do the following:

Write one paragraph or two or more paragraphs using your notes.

Cite any information which you would not have known without doing
your research.

Do not cite "Duh" information. (choose to ignore your "Duh" notes).

1 point for each complete sentence.

2 points for each sentence which incorporates findings from your research.

1 point for each correct citation.
