opposite of what you would expect. Also, sort of like sarcasm. Examples:

1. Separate items in a series. 2. Usually come before and, but, or. 3. Are used when phrases introduce the sentence. 4. Are used when phrases interrupt the sentence. |
Semicolons:
1. Are used to separate independent clauses (parts of a sentence that could be sentences on their own). |
