Practice.
  1. On p193 of your commas sheet, they list 8 places where you would use a comma. Number them from 1-8.
  2. Look at where you put commas in each of the 10 sentences you did for homework. THINK: Why did you put the comma there?
  3. Next to each sentence write the number of the reason that sentence needed a comma(s).
  4. For example: For sentence #1, you would write 4, because the comma you inserted after the word America comes after "an introductory word or phrase."
  5. +1/2 for each that is correct.
  6. IN YOUR PERFECT PAPER, YOU MUST USE 5 COMMAS FOR 2 REASONS.
