Prepare sheet for Test #9.
Mental Floss. No tricks this time! (Well, maybe one.)
  1. Wacky Wordie:  PinnAcLeS
  2. Each sentence below contains a word that can be anagrammed to answer or describe the sentence.  Example: Craft that might tip in the ocean. Answer: Canoe (Anagram of ocean)
  3. Add together each of the defined words to get a whole new word.

  4. Example: to shout + what you say when you feel pain = yellow. (with hints = +1/2 each)
  5. John really wanted to know how much money he would get from grandpa for his birthday. But grandpa didn't want to tell him. Instead he said, 
        "You get so much!"

  6.     "But how much is so much?" John asked.
        "If I gave you so much, plus so much, plus the half of so much, plus 1/4 of so much, plus 1 dollar, you would have 100 dollars."
    How much will John get?
  7. It took 5 men, working 24 hours a day, 5 days to complete building a wall. How many days will one man take to complete building the same wall, if he works for 8 hours a day?
