9 Quiz "Open Mouth" Stylie?
RAGs for rough drafts.
-
Do not use your name; use your 4-digit number.
-
If you get your own (or that of somebody you know), it doesn't
matter. Read it anyway. You might learn something.
-
Read as far as you can in 1 minute. Don't dawdle, read
as much as you can. Look for ideas you like, and things to avoid.
-
When you hear, "Switch..."
-
Pass papers immediately. Always pass papers clockwise (to
the left).
-
After reading the whole group of papers, come to an agreement
about which paper of that group is the best. Write down that paper's
number.
-
Then we'll look at the "winners," the ones most groups liked
best. What do these essays have in common? What can we learn from what
they did?
Now what?
-
Get three people (at least one must be Mom/Dad/other trusted,
savvy adult) to read your first draft, and do Part I on the
Evaluation
Sheet.
-
Rewrite. Add, subtract, give details,
give examples, proofread and fix! Do not just retype.
Show me 2nd draft and reader comments on Friday!
