Warm Up. LAMS Common Assessment Part I.
Part II will be an in-class essay in a persuasive stylie:

  Should Laguna Middle School students be required to wear school uniforms?
 Should Laguna Middle School be a one gender school?
 Should Laguna Middle School students be allowed to chew gum on campus?

Go find some information about those topics so that your opinion actually means something and you have some knowledge with which to persuade me. You could be asked to write the essay any time between Friday and next Friday. Don't prewrite the essay, just find out about one or more of the topics.
