Adjective or Adverb? Not all "ly"
words are adverbs!
Copy the two definitions below. Then, copy each bold-faced,
underlined word and say whether it is used as an adjective or an adverb
in that sentence. Also say which other word in the sentence it is modifying.
There are also three mistakes to find and fix for extra credit.
Adjective: Which one? What kind?
How many? about a noun.
Adverb: When? Where? How? about a verb, adjective,
or another adverb.
