Mental Floss.
  1. When you behead a word, you remove the first letter and still have a valid word. You will be given clues for the two words, longer word first.
    Example: Begin --> sour.  Answer: Start and Tart
  2. A man asks his two sons to do a chore. When they finish, he gives them 25 cents. What time is it? (It's a joke, not a trick, so don't tell me what time it is now.)
  3. Fill in the blank correctly. What is the next thing in this sequence. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ____. 
  4. You are touring an island, but it is not any old island. All the residents here are either a type T or L person. Type T people ALWAYS tell the truth.  Type L people ALWAYS lie.  A person comes up to you and says, "I am a Type L person."    What type of person is he?
  5. In which six-letter country can the following capitals be found?  Peking, Oslo, London, Athens, Nassau, Delhi
    (Hint: Words can have more than one meaning.)  (Bonus for +1 more each: Tell what country each city is in.)
  6. The following clues make a pun on words that start with mis-.
    Example:
    This young woman showed me where to go.   (She really lied to me.)   ANSWER: MISDIRECTED. Get it? MISS Directed.
