They will want flowers, too, when they meet their ends

    *This passage says that the boy's friends who brought flowers to his funeral would also want someone to care about them when they die.  I don't think that this passage means that they only brought flowers to his funeral because they wanted flowers when they died, I think that they really cared about him and they want a friend when they die.  The friends want to die in peace and they want people who love them when they "meet their ends".*
