Technical Writing Assignment. (8th grade)
The state standards for this assignment:
a. Identify the sequence of activities needed to design a system, operate a tool, or explain the bylaws of an organization.
b. Include all the factors and variables that need to be considered.
c. Use formatting techniques (e.g., headings, differing fonts) to aid comprehension.

You are to write a series of instructions for using a system or a tool.
It should include:
An introduction that shows WHY or in WHAT SITUATION this would be useful information, and what background information we need to begin.
A list of required materials.
A list of specific vocabulary with definitions.  (At least 5.)
A sequenced procedure with at least 15 steps.
A conclusion that offers tips for going further with this information.
Other Requirements:
600 + words.
A labeled diagram, photograph, drawing, or some other type of graphic.
Word processed and printed. Use formatting techniques (e.g., headings, differing fonts) to aid comprehension.
Correct punctuation and spelling.  NDP.
