Research Paper Grading Scale:
Content: /100
Writing/Editing/Organization: /100
Citations/Use of Sources/Works Cited: /30
Formatting/Requirements: /20
Total: /250
Citations One Last Time.
Yes, pictures too.
Any fact you use that is not common knowledge should be cited. If a
whole paragraph of information came from the same source, you can wait
until the end of the paragraph to cite.
The citation goes inside the period. NO comma between author and page: (Smith 17).
- EasyBib the source.
- Whatever is first in the citation--author, article title, etc.-- is what goes first.
- If it is a book or other print source with page numbers, that goes next. If it is a web source, you're done.
- DO THE SAME FOR PICTURES.
- If 2 or more citations in a row are from the same print source, just cite the page number until you switch sources.
- If something is listed in your Works Cited, there had better be one or more citations for it in the paper, and vice versa.
Yee #3!
Go over Test 27.
Finish Vladek if not already finished.
