“Delinquent, 8/18.”

“It takes a village to raise a child.”   -African Proverb.  (copy into notebook)

What do you think that means? Do you think it’s true? Explain why/not.

Delinquent. I read the poem out loud. Groups take a shot at the questions in their notebooks. Then we go through it!

Outro: Connect the poem to the quote!

Pass out books. Name on all three edges in LARGE LETTERS. Stack neatly with your period.
