  • Show not Tell: “Wow, That was a Mistake” due Wednesday. SHOW you making a big mistake that you learned something from. Show how and why you did what you did and the aftermath. Think about the beginning of The Outsiders… SHARE with me by Wednesday, 10/2. Name, Period, and Title on the document. 400+ words.

Question: What are the three uses for apostrophes? Examples?

  1. Possessive form: Book of Joe = Joe’s book.
  2. Contractions: is + not = isn’t  (Takes the place of a letter.)
  3. Pluralize letters and words used as words.  All A’s on my report card.
